Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist for the Blood Bank at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
Full-Time/Day Shift

The Lead Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist position is responsible for accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results and in-depth technical/ theoretical knowledge of instruments and methodologies. The Lead MT/MLS performs complex QC, troubleshooting and maintenance duties w/ minimum supervision.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of an approved school of Medical Technology.
- National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire. Or
- National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire. Or
- National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire. Or
- National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists upon hire. Or
- National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts upon hire. Or
- National Laboratory Tech - United States Government upon hire.
- 6 years of experience as a Medical Technologist in a laboratory setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of Clinical laboratory experience in a moderate and high complexity laboratory
