Position Title: Laboratory Technician, CPD&D

Work Location: Indianapolis, IN

Assignment Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule: 40 hours, 8AM-4:30PM

Work Arrangement: 100% site-based

Position Summary: This position involves working in a laboratory setting, conducting experiments, handling laboratory equipment.

Background & Context:

Routine research laboratory specific activities might be different based on the different CPD&D area recruiting focus.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting experiments, handling laboratory equipment.

Specific tasks might be defined based on the CPD&D area that will be recruiting.

Qualification & Experience:

BS in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related fields) is required.

1 years+ prior relevant experience working in a research or manufacturing/engineering laboratory environment is preferred.

Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques.

Adherence to our organization's Safety Protocols: Understands and follows EH&S standards. Use of safety procedures & appropriate PPE mandated. Compliance with laboratory safety protocols.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective documentation and communication of results, good organization skills, follow SOPs, and adhere to safety protocols, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Nice to have: Experience with data entry and data management.

Nice to have: Cell culture and aseptic technique.

Nice to have: Experience preparing media recipes.

Nice to have: Experience with microbiology
