Join our team as a CZT Process Engineer .
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Process Engineer , you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to feasibility and improvement studies throughout the complete manufacturing. process: high-level design, concept research, simulation, prototype evaluation, performance testing, and process optimization.
- Demonstrating leadership in in the development and refinement of manufacturing processes used for the contact generation of direct conversion materials as well as processing and testing of such materials.
- Supporting our innovation development at all levels within the material and growth furnace development, material sourcing, process developments, material processing and material evaluation.
- Ensuring the transfer of technologies into solutions by working closely with other R&D teams.
- Protecting innovations with invention disclosures. You will take part at the knowledge exchange with our R&D team to improve and further develop our products and software solutions.

- A solid understanding of the contacting process of direct conversion crystal materials like CZT/CdTe and their further processing.
- Excellent hand-on laboratory skills and a passion for experimental work with a high level of detail.
- Experience in manufacturing process development, evaluation and failure analysis.
- Laboratory experience in wet chemical processes.
- Experience with direct conversion materials used for gamma ray detection.
- Strong computer skills to do efficient data processing, analysis and documentation.
- Ability to work across domains with other teams and can transfer new and existing know-how.
- Thrive in a virtual and fast-paced environment and can collaborate effectively with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Have an outstanding ability to work independently, be creative, and overcome obstacles.
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- Masters degree in process engineering, chemical engineering or related experimental field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an industrial environment in one of these fields: contact generation, process engineering, radiation detector development, material testing.
- Willing to travel both internationally and domestically.

The annual base pay for this position is:
Min $97,100 - Max $145,600Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
