- Assist with the development and implementation of audit protocols.
- Audit third-party vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
- Create weekly reports to locate errors.
- Ensure that requests from management or customers are handled in a timely manner.
- Perform specified tests to verify that control measures are adequate for contract requirements.
- Schedule, document the results of, and maintain a log of all required inspections.
- Clearly document, correct, and re-inspect all non-conformances before covering up work.
- Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of building construction experience.
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health training.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with 2 years of experience in either Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines; OR a High School diploma/GED plus 5 years of construction management experience.
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective quality control systems in compliance with contract requirements.
- Experience using Army RMS/CQC system, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project plans, specifications, shop drawings, samples, and testing.
- Proficiency with computer software used in the construction industry.
- Ability to create and administer new QC programs.
- Time management skills.
- Professional communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Credentials showing completion of the course 'Construction Quality Management for Contractors' offered by USACE, or willingness to complete the course upon hire.
The position offers a per diem for 5 days of full per diem at $178/day and 2 days of partial per diem for lodging for non local candidates. The role will involve working on-site, overseeing either electrical or mechanical scope under direction.
