Job Description We are seeking a skilled Chemist to perform chemical formulation of products, oversee and manage multiple projects from development to production, and collaborate with production teams to scale up developed formulas. The role involves performing necessary lab work to develop new formulas, maintaining quality control measures, and conducting general lab bench work, including maintaining the laboratory. You will be responsible for researching new technologies and scientific literature to stay updated with industry trends and methodologies. Additionally, you will work closely with vendors and suppliers to review and approve materials for laboratory use and collaborate with third-party laboratories as needed. Assisting in the training of new laboratory personnel is also part of this role. Responsibilities
- Perform chemical formulation of products.
- Oversee and manage multiple projects from development to production.
- Collaborate with production teams to scale up developed formulas.
- Conduct necessary lab work for formula development and quality control.
- Research new technologies and scientific literature.
- Review and approve materials used in laboratory work.
- Work with third-party laboratories as needed.
- Assist in training new laboratory personnel.
- Strong background in chemistry.
- Experience in wet chemistry, research and development, formulation, and chemical synthesis.
- Proficiency in laboratory and analytical chemistry.
- Experience with barrier coatings, emulsions, dispersions, suspensions, and polymers.
- Knowledge of urethanes, R&D chemistry, chemical development, paper, and pulp industries.
- Ability to work well with others, maintain an open mind, and possess a strong work ethic.
