Job DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to further prepare an individual who was recently awarded a doctorate to undertake the responsibilities of a career in research while working collaboratively with faculty, staff, as well as graduate and undergraduate students at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center, and the UMaine academic departments. Typical hiring range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Area of expertise: Thermoplastic composite materials, composite material durability, test methods for composite materials, composite materials manufacturing, experimental characterization of composites.
