The R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the Dr. Travis Wheeler lab. The research focus of this position will be development of custom neural networks for functional annotation of protein sequences.
This is an Extended Temporary Employment (ETE) position.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and conduct research projects.
- Analyze research results and help determine next steps.
- Write manuscripts and progress reports.
- Help train undergraduates and graduate students in the lab.
- Contribute to grant writing.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in computer science, computational biology, or related field.
- Dissertation must have focused on development of neural networks for analysis of proteins.
