Role Summary/Purpose
Develop, plan, and provide technical support for MRI magnet processes and technologies. Provide support for implementing improvements to existing products that enhance performance, reliability, or reduce cost. Interface with internal and external counter-parts to achieve program goals and integrate global activities
Essential Responsibilities
Execute the design, analysis, process development or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products. Executes routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision. Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information. Works within a team setting and / or under guidance.
Qualifications/Requirements
BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or Related fields
Desired Characteristics
- 3+ year industrial experience with CAD model (e. g. Creo)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Familiar with manufacturing process and technologies.
- Hands on hardware experience with larger assemblies or complex machine.
- Tooling design experience.
- Familiar with medical device process control & quality management system related to process transfer validation
