DFW Airport is looking for a Lead Quality Control Technician to ensure our world-class facilities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently around the clock. From HVAC systems to jet bridges, youll be the go-to person for contract compliance, quality inspections, and operational support. • Lead Facility Quality Inspections on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems (MEPS).

• Oversee Contractors & Technicians ensuring top-tier service and contract compliance across DFW-managed properties.

• Respond to Safety & Security Concerns and act immediately to assess and resolve issues.

• Track & Report service requests, work orders, and inspection data using the Airports Total Asset Management System.

• Mentor & Train Quality Control Technicians and coordinate their daily tasks.

• Manage Emergencies Be the first on-site for facility-related incidents and dispatch repair staff as needed.

• Support Department Goals through clear communication, data accuracy, and accountability for service quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3+ years' experience in facilities maintenance

• 2+ years' experience or formal training in:

  • Industrial electrical/mechanical operations

  • HVAC and related mechanical systems

  • Custodial services supervision

  • Baggage handling or jet bridge systems

• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

• Valid Class C drivers license

• Willingness to work rotating shifts and be on-call during emergencies
