Description What Youll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and specialized laboratory testsincluding clinical chemistry, hematology, and immunologyin accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate test results meticulously for precision, address any discrepancies, and manage preventative upkeep and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and the preparation of samples for diagnostic analysis.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, assist in training new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining stringent laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure the laboratory environment is clean and safe, complying with all relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with eligibility to sit for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your employment.
