Education and experience

B.S. in chemistry, with at least 5 years of direct laboratory experience, or

M.S. in chemistry or related science with at least 3 year of direct laboratory

experience, or

Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be

considered with management approval.

Skills and abilities

Good organizational skills.

Displays versatility and accuracy performing laboratory operations, some of

which may be difficult and/or non-routine.

Ability to use a computer to compile and maintain databases for records and

inventory, utilizing the appropriate software.

An attitude for quality, an eye for detail, the ability to follow written instructions

and work with a minimum of supervision.

Understanding of GMP/GLP/GCP regulations with the ability to apply these

practices daily.

A working knowledge and awareness of general laboratory procedures.

Ability to use personal computer and various software programs.

Ability to work independently.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Ability to adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the persons relevant experience and/or education level.
