  • Experience with gas and chemical system operations including systems monitoring, sustaining operations, maintenance, and process/equipment improvements
  • Review/analyze data and monitor equipment to identify trends and ensure processes are running within specifications
  • Understand and apply Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) concepts and root cause failure analysis to open-ended problems
  • Evaluation of process requirements and specification of new gas and chemical delivery systems as required. Future scenario planning support including infrastructure budgeting and schedule forecasting, utilization and capacity data analysis
  • Coordinate commissioning of equipment and facilities, operating philosophy, and overall control. Develop and execute pre-startup and operation procedures, process and equipment
  • Confirm operational readiness and assurance issues between operations personnel and construction/commissioning personnel. Interface and provide clarification and guidance and technical support to construction and commissioning teams
  • Responsible for ensuring the satisfactory completion of commissioning of systems in terms of quality of work and schedule
  • Preparing proposals for modifications of facilities, control & safety schemes and process operating parameters to enhance safety, reliability and process performance
  • Interface/coordinate with Design teams to review and determine opportunities to improve the systems designs at different design stages
  • Participate in Process Hazard reviews and analysis including HAZOP/HAZID/SIL studies and responsible for actions close-out
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of gas and chemical systems operations experience; semiconductor facility, refining or battery manufacturing facility support preferred
  • Hazardous production material (HPM) expertise
  • Strong data and system analysis
  • Strong troubleshooting background and issue resolution
  • High tolerance for change
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience with design and installation of gas and chemical equipment, including piping systems and facility support equipment
  • Experience commissioning and conducting performance testing of complex systems
  • Experience in managing and leading projects including design/specification, bidding, and field coordination
