As a Product Development Scientist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:- Leads programs of major importance to the organization's interests and portfolios.
- Develops mechanistic understanding of technologies
- Cultures adherent mammalian cells and establishes 3D cultures
- Cultures and maintains medically relevant bacterial strains
- Leads preclinical studies and analyzes data
- Develops novel experimental techniques around cellular metabolism and inflammation
- Communicates and contextualizes results to management and project teams
Your Skills and Expertise
- PhD in biological science preferably cell biology, physiology, microbiology or other appropriate discipline AND 5 years industry experience in mammalian cell culturing and monitoring and specific experience with 3D cell culturing of adherent cells
- Master's degree and 9 years industry experience in mammalian cell culturing and monitoring and specific experience with 3D cell culturing of adherent cells
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Expertise in development of novel experimental procedures and metabolic test methods including both 2D and 3D cell models
- Expertise in sterile technique and microbial procedures as well as experience in work with medically relevant microbial strains including bacterial cell culturing, proliferation and maintenance of cell lines
- Expertise in immunoassays including multiplexed immunoassays
- Expertise in testing antimicrobial technologies.
- Experience with preclinical models and studies
- Good understanding of experimental design, data analysis and technical writing and communication
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience with basic statistical methods
- Experience with design control

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
