Job Description

Job Title: Chemical Technician

Location: Houston, TX, 77064

Shift: 8 am- 5 pm

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

Working with hydrocarbon-based chemistry, fuels, and oils

Using and maintaining lab equipment

Devising and executing experiments

Following directions provided by professionals

Recording the findings of analyses

Communicate the results accurately and quickly

Required Skills:

Comfortable hands-on working with chemicals, various types of specialized equipment, including computerized tools/instruments and software

Communication skills

Detail-oriented: attention to detail to carry out the requested procedures properly, meticulously read and understand the directions

Analytical skill: Data mining and understanding the data generated

Organized: systematically manage the work and workspace

Preferred Skills:

Experience in additives screening tools

Education Preferred:

B.S in Chemistry or related field

Open to new graduates but need some lab experience, BS in Chemistry or related field
