Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Research Materials Retrieval and Tracking
- Retrieve tissue blocks and histology slides for projects, and keep track of the materials.
- Return the materials when studies are completed.
Data Collection
- Identify research cases from institutional databases based on inclusion and exclusion criteria to identify cases eligible for research projects.
- Collect, organize, and maintain research data.
- Establish record-keeping systems.
- Pull data from pathology reports and electronic medical records.
- Ensure data privacy, integrity and accuracy.
Facilitate Research Requests
- Maintain a database of active research projects in the division.
Perform other duties as assigned.
