Position Summary Division of Anatomic and Molecular Pathology (AMP) in the Department of Pathology and Immunology is seeking an organized and detail-oriented research coordinator to provide essential administrative support for clinical and translational research projects in the division, which may include retrospective studies on archived tissue, correlative studies between clinical and pathologic data, among others. The candidate will assist with data collection and management, report preparation, and research compliance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in an academic and clinical setting.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Research Materials Retrieval and Tracking

• Retrieve tissue blocks and histology slides for projects, and keep track of the materials.
• Return the materials when studies are completed.

Data Collection

• Identify research cases from institutional databases based on inclusion and exclusion criteria to identify cases eligible for research projects.
• Collect, organize, and maintain research data.
• Establish record-keeping systems.
• Pull data from pathology reports and electronic medical records.
• Ensure data privacy, integrity and accuracy.

Facilitate Research Requests

• Maintain a database of active research projects in the division.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range $47,400.00 - $71,200.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
