Lab Manager (Laboratory Manager)

Lab Manager------------------------------------------------------------------------Fulltime Lab ManagerDuties/skills:-Directs, supervises, and coordinates functions and activities in any or all divisions of the Clinical Laboratory.-Is responsible for operating budget, capital budget, and review of monthly financial responsibility reports.-Oversees laboratory computer system and HIS-related issues including, charge numbers, CPT coding, and lab-related patient account problems.-Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance, and makes recommendations for personnel actions.-Reports to Physician Director of Lab/Hospital CEO-All other duties/skills and qualifications will be discussed at time of interview.Qualifications:-Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences-ASCP or AMT preferred.-5 years experience in Clinical Laboratory required.-3-5 year experience in Supervisor/Manager role required.-Proficient computer skills required.Salary negotiable depending on training and experience.DW McMillan Memorial Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.------------------------------------------------------------------------Additional InformationPosition Type :Full TimeShift :Day
