    The Department of Biology & Chemistry at the Prescott Campus College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Chemistry position beginning in fall 2025.

    The faculty member should have the ability and interest in teaching several courses in chemistry including general chemistry, chemistry for engineers, and organic chemistry. There are laboratory components to all chemistry courses. These courses support the Applied Biology and Forensic Biology degree programs, in addition to being service courses for non-majors.

    Qualifications

    Required: An M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry or appropriate related discipline. Successful candidates will have documented positive teaching experience, effective oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in the delivery of undergraduate education.
