DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:DescriptionVitalant is seeking a hands-on Clinical Research Associate II to join our Hemophilia Center of Western PA division. In this role, you will play a key part in conducting and supporting clinical research studies, including scheduling patient research study visits, ensuring adherence to study protocols, working hands-on with patients/research participants and contributing to groundbreaking advancements in hemophilia and blood disorder research. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential in this role! What You'll Do:* Recruit and enroll research subjects by reviewing patient records and identifying eligible candidates.* Obtain informed consent and schedule research study visits.* Complete case report forms (CRFs) and submit data through web-based systems.* Process and collect specimens, ensuring compliance with study protocols. (Phlebotomy skills are necessary)* Assist with adverse event reporting and follow safety guidelines.* Work closely with research sponsors, including pharmaceutical companies and physician-led investigator studies.
