Job Responsibilities
- Performs analyses and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, and/or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property.
- Performs a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples, and to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
- Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports. Reviews production records for conformance to procedures.
- Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged, or a tested product.
Basic Qualifications
- For a Level 2: A High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant work experience within the field.
- For a Level 3: A High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant work experience within the field.
- The ability to work any shift if needed.
- The ability to pass a drug test and background check
- The ability to obtain a security clearance if necessary
- The ability to pass the J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies IPC Certified Specialist course.
- The ability to pass the IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies IPC Certified Specialist course.
