The Department of Agribusiness, Applied Economics and Agriscience Education at North Carolina A&T State University is seeking candidates for a 12-month, staff position of Research Associate with a track record of work on social sciences issues relating to agriculture (in general), food, and rural/urban communities.

Prospective candidates are also expected to design experiments and surveys (using Survey Monkey and Qualtrics platforms) to collect and analyze data that will advance understanding of social science issues and demonstrate impact, especially issues relevant to underserved and disadvantaged communities; to design and adapt analytical methodologies both quantitative and qualitative for application in analyzing social data and visualization of data; to conduct field work that involves in depth ethnographic interviews and experiments; prepare literature reviews, reports, abstracts, presentations, papers and supervise enumerators, and to and to provide analytic expertise to expand the Department's research portfolio.
