Project EngineerReporting directly to the CAPEX & New Business Initiatives Program Manager, the Project Engineer will plan, lead, and be responsible for the capital project management at Cremer North America. This key role within the organization entails technical project management, process implementation, and the establishment of clear communication channels and direction between teams and key project team leaders. This position will work to coordinate plans, schedules, and engineering activities during project development and sustaining activities within a GMP environment. As the Project Engineer, you will use experience in leading cross functional teams to constructively engage with team members and external vendors to drive continuous improvement and business growth throughout the organization.POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation, Credentials, Licenses:Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or relevant field.PMP Certification preferredKind & Length of Experience:3-5 years of project management in a chemical or consumers good manufacturing environmentExcellent analytical, logical, and project management skills. High level of personal credibility at all levels of the organizationStrong project management, supervision, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to define, build, and adhere to successful development processesExcellent knowledge of design and visualization softwareSolid decision making and leadership skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in changing communication style based on audienceFamiliarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards as it relates to engineeringSafety management mindsetPERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDSPrepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projectsDetermine project specifications by studying project design, customer requirements, performance standards, completing technical studies, and preparing cost estimatesDrive project planning and project development activities with accurate and clear budget and resource planning modelsMaintain project schedule by studying project plan, specifications, and calculating time requirementsAnalyze and improve project management practices and processes through root cause analysis and a systems-focused approachManage and lead assigned project team members in daily activities; communicate and coordinate activities along cross-functional boundariesExecute multiple complex projects from concept through requirements, design, development, testing, and deploymentDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address project-specific challenges while aligning with broader program objectives. Monitor and control risks to ensure successful project executionDevelop and follow a Project Management Plan; set team project goals, plan project deliverables, establish project schedules and milestones, and manage all aspects of project schedule including risk with critical focus on safety and qualityPrepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends recommending actionsMonitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, policies, and performance standards and specificationsFormulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation proceduresSupport efforts to implement and maintain the RC14001/EHS&S management systemMaintaining a safe and secure workplace and meet environmental site requirementsSupport the EHS&S objectives and targets, and any specific action plans or management programs assignedUnderstand the EHS&S risks and impacts of the employee's job and functional area, including appropriate controls and proceduresReport accidents and incidents to a supervisor or the EHS&S departmentParticipate
