This is an excellent opportunity for a new or experienced technician who will provide preventative maintenance, fixes and installs for customers. Our Beverage & Chemical Department supplies our customers with beverage, cleaning, and sanitation products and services. These products and services provide our clients with consistent, high-quality results. This position will generally cover the southeastern 1/4 of North Dakota (Jamestown area south to SD and west to MN) and possibly some of NE South Dakota region. The ideal candidate would live within the territory, preferably in the Valley City area, but will consider candidates in other areas. Depending on location, may have an occasional overnight stay to effectively service customers.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating and performing schedule installations, preventative maintenance and service according to CWD standards
  • Build relationships with existing customer accounts in order to grow sales
  • Provide additional technical support to District Sales and Regional managers as needed
  • Maintain quality maintenance schedule within the territory, logging all activities for quality assurance purposes

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Need strong mechanical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide array of personalities
  • Be self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional and timely manner
  • Ability to talk to customers about upgrade opportunities (soft sales)
  • Driver's license with safe driving history is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods at a time for travel to work locations
  • Must able to lift up to 80 pounds on when performing maintenance or installations
  • Must be able to perform multiple physical activities (stand/walk/bend/squat/stoop/kneel) on a regular basis when performing maintenance or installations.
  • Regular use of hands and fingers while performing maintenance or installations
  • Fine motor skills required; ability to manipulate hand tools
