Job Description

  • Providing general engineering support, troubleshooting of multiple chemical manufacturing processes, and providing process owner-level support for at least one process.
  • Specifying, developing, justifying, implementing, and sustaining chemical equipment, processes, and materials to improve safety, quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of chemical manufacturing processes in accordance with strategic objectives.
  • Performing tests and applying statistical problem solving to identify root cause, evaluating new equipment, processes, and process improvement activities of chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Monitoring and analyzing data from processes and experiments to ensure the safe and efficient operation of chemical processes and equipment.
  • Conducting research to develop new chemical and manufacturing processes and/or equipment, plant and equipment layout, and providing recommendations to management.
  • You have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • You have 2 years' experience in chemical manufacturing processes.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly.
  • You have exceptional writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
  • You can collaborate and work across functions, groups, divisions, and companies.
  • You have knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements.
  • You can train technical and non-technical staff.
