Gas and Chemical technician

Our client, a leader in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a Gas and Chemical Technician to join their team. As a Gas and Chemical Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting critical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Gas and Chemical Technician

Location: Fremont, CA

Duration: 12+ Months contract with possibility to convert to perm

Location: 12 hrs. shift (They will start on the Day shift and, depending on experience, etc., will be moved to working a Compressed shift. This includes working days for 3 months and then nights for 3 months)

What's the Job?

• Support and lead the technical demands of site gas and chemical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, and emergency preparedness.
• Drive a culture of zero safety or quality incidents.
• Participate in projects and sustaining operations related to gas and chemical systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment.

What's Needed?

• 2 - 3 years of experience with chemicals and/or gas.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to speak English.
• Desire for a long-term career path with potential for permanent employment.
