Senior Chemist

Facilitate development of innovative personal care products by analyzing organic or inorganic compounds to determine chemical properties, composition, structure, relationships or reactions.- Develop cosmetic formulas utilizing newly discovered ingredients and technologies in the company R D laboratories.- Research, request, test, and troubleshoot raw materials.- Adhere to a cGMP environment, follow lab procedures, and prepare all required paperwork.- Collaborate with process engineers and oversee pilot and first production batches.- Calibrate the company equipment as needed.- Scale up and production manufacturing- Maintain adherence to regulations on the cosmetics industry regulated by various government agencies.- Attend cosmetics seminars and customer meetings.This position requires a master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or Pharmaceutics. Also, 2 years of work experience as a Chemist or Formulation Chemist in the cosmetics industry is required.
