Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Chemistwith3-5 years of routine testing in a GMP pharmaceutical laboratory. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in HPLC, dissolution testing, and other analytical techniques used for solid oral dosage forms, raw materials, and finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical samples.
- Utilize HPLC, GC, FTIR, KF, UV-VIS, dissolution testing, and other analytical techniques.
- Conduct sampling, physical and chemical tests on raw materials, APIs, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Prepare solutions, perform calibrations, and maintain laboratory instruments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with cGMP/GLP requirements.
- Assist in writing technical protocols, validation reports, and SOPs.
- Support environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
- Collaborate with senior personnel for troubleshooting and method development.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA guidelines, and pharmaceutical quality control standards.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, dissolution, FTIR, UV-VIS, Karl Fischer (KF), and other analytical instruments.
- Knowledge of chromatographic techniques, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry.
- Proficiency in laboratory software and applications such as HPLC/FTIR software, TOC analyzer, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs, stand or sit for extended periods, and wear required PPE.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
