As a Lab Tech III you will:Conduct testing by following test methods and standard operating procedures for sample preparation, physical/mechanical performance, weathering, and polymer property/rheology tests.Chemical wet lab preparation of polymer solutions and bench-top coating and drying or curing of adhesives.Analyzing and summarizing experimental data using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.Maintain orderly lab area, perform basic maintenance for laboratory equipment, especially for our microscope apparatusDocument records of test conditions, results, and observations in request spreadsheets, electronic lab notebooks, and/or technical reportsDeveloping, improving, executing, and documenting test methodsThis is a first shift position. Estimated Duration up to 24 months. The ideal candidate will have: Your Skills and Expertise:One year of combined experience in a laboratory, manufacturing/production, and/or pilot plant in a private, public, educational, government, or military environmentHands-on, entry-level experience with analytical and/or physical material property testing(Preferred) Experience with adhesives in testing or coating solutions(Preferred) Experience in measuring and documenting visual standards (e.g. gloss, color, defect analysis).Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience in working and maintaining microscopes or similar equipmentAbility to communicate regularly and effectively on test results and observations in a technical settingBS Degree preferredPay Rate: $33.61 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
