Position: QC Technician

Duration: Temp to Hire

Shift: 1st

Location: Spring, TX 77388

Compensation: $19.00

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to review equipment calibration, validation, and maintenance records to ensure they are performed correctly and on-time.

Ability to use measuring equipment to oversee / perform detailed inspections of components and completed assemblies at various phases of incoming inspection, production and throughout the manufacturing processes.

Ability to document nonconforming material; clearly and accurately and report them the QA Manager.

Coordinate with other departments and processes regarding material movement

Systematically transfer material in ERP

Interact with departments to coordinate information updates

Data entry

Follow procedures and processes

Web-based data/document management

Maintain paper files of all original documents; maintain electronic versions of these documents and the computer database.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM of 1 years worth of experience in Quality Control

High school diploma

Well organized and able to work minimal supervision

Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Ability to operate required equipment necessary for task at hand

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Pulling/pushing, bending, standing, sitting, and walking are all encountered throughout the workday

Requires personal computing skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and Word.
