Job Description :
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist - ADC Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and contribute to the discovery, development, and optimization of antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep scientific and technical expertise in ADC development, including antibody engineering, linker-payload technologies, and conjugation strategies, and will serve as a scientific leader and strategic contributor across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the scientific and technical SME for ADC research and development programs.
Lead design, optimization, and execution of ADC strategies including selection of antibody, linker, and payload combinations.
Evaluate and implement novel conjugation chemistries and site-specific modification methods.
Support characterization of ADCs including stability, DAR (drug-to-antibody ratio), and in vitro/in vivo efficacy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including protein engineering, analytical sciences, bioassays, and toxicology to advance ADC programs.
Design and interpret preclinical studies related to pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology.
Prepare and present data to internal stakeholders and contribute to regulatory documentation.
Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in the ADC and targeted therapy space.
Compensation Details:
We provide a reasonable range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location.
The Pay Range for this position is $110,000 - $160,00. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.
Requirements & Experience :
Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Immunology, or a related field with 3-6 years of ADC-specific experience (or M.S. with 6+ years).
Proven experience developing ADCs from early-stage research through IND-enabling studies.
Strong understanding of antibody engineering, conjugation chemistry, and payload mechanisms of action.
Hands-on experience with ADC analytical techniques (e.g., HIC, SEC, LC-MS, ELISA).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for ADC development a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, scientific judgment, and communication abilities.
Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams in a biotech or pharma setting.
