Job Description Summary / TWC Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Research Associate to join our dynamic research team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting academic research initiatives focused on housing and community development, with expertise in advanced data collection, statistical analysis, and Geographic Information Systems ( GIS ).
This is a Grant Funded position.
Essential Duties Summary
Conduct thorough literature reviews and stay updated on the latest research trends in housing and community development.
Collaborate with senior researchers to design and implement research projects.
Utilize advanced statistical techniques and GIS tools for data collection, analysis, and visualization.
Collect, process, and analyze spatial data to uncover patterns and trends related to housing and community development.
Develop and maintain databases for efficient data management, incorporating GIS datasets.
Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and visual presentations of research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
Remain up-to-date with emerging methodologies and technologies to enhance research capabilities.

$80,870.19 - $103,109.49
Education
Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Urban Planning, Geography, Sociology, Economics, etc.).
Required Licensing/Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in data collection, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
Expertise in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS ) and spatial data analysis.
Advanced skills in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and data management tools.
