QC Bioassay Scientist - Process Related Impurity Testing

Overview of role:
Reporting to QC PRI Team Leader, this is a hands-on laboratory-based position. Employee will participate in QC testing by performing ELISAs, qPCR and ligand binding assays to test for process related impurities and potency of biosimilar products produced at Alvotech.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform qPCR, ELISAs and Ligand binding assays in QC testing and method trending.
ELISA and ligand binding assay data collection, interpretation and ensuring proper documentation of experimental data.
Performs both routine tasks within procedures and processes and non-routine tasks, such as Invalid assays, OOS/OOT/OOE along with investigation actions.
Work in accordance with GMP practices, conducting all activities in a compliant manner.
Qualification and optimization of critical reagents e.g. reference material.
Identifying required document changes and updating of quality documentation
Be able to work in accordance with GMP practices, conducting all activities in a compliant manner
Qualifications:
Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Life Science (Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Virology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Genetics etc)
Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience in performing assays such as ELISAs, qPCR and ligand binding assays. Knowledge and experience of working within a GMP environment is beneficial.
