Laboratory Manager for Syringa Hospital & Clinics (Grangeville, ID). Responsible for the general ops of the lab. Oversee QC, PM & Proficiency testing. Maintain procedures & policies. Respond to patient, physician & nursing complaints. Serve on Infection Control Committee to report on incidence of infection & antibiotic resistance. Compile & monitor lab budget & submit it to the Financial Officer. Research new lab procedures & instruments & help negotiate pricing & ordering w/in budget. Responsible for HR lab functions incl interviewing, hiring, promotion & termination; staff performance reviews; maintain proper staff documentation incl licensing & training. Perform Med Tech job duties. Reqs: BS in Med Tech, Med Lab Sci or Clin Lab Sci +2 yrs exp in lab mgmt; AMT or ASCP cert. Background check reqd.
