- Lead internal and vendor teams to develop and deliver software and interface requirements.
- Ensure systems meet performance needs including availability, reliability, upgradeability, interoperability, and security requirements.
- Effectively communicate project health, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management teams.
- Escalate urgent issues appropriately and drive them to closure in a timely manner.
- Provide visualizations, document results, and communicate them across multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency in AWS, Java, Rust, React, Python, Kotlin, and C++.
- Experience with cloud or networking.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in Python, Rust, or C++.
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Software defined networking experience.
- Ability to write code in AWS using Python, Kotlin, or Rust.
This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, provided the candidate is willing to support PST hours. The team is engaged in writing services in AWS to build out all of Kuiper's systems for customers at the cloud level, enhancing the features available to customers.
