- Plan, perform, and complete analytical projects under direct or general supervision.
- Conduct method development, feasibility studies, method validation, and method transfer activities.
- Independently perform laboratory tests to determine physical and chemical characteristics of samples.
- Analyze data and interpret results with minimal supervision.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments including but not limited to:
- HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Disintegration, IC, TLC, Titration, Specific Rotation, KF, FT-IR, LOD, Friability, UV/Vis, ICP, MS, CVAA.
- Utilize data acquisition and instrument operating software (e.g., Turbochrom, Cerity, WinLab).
- Begin to perform technical assessments and contribute to troubleshooting efforts.
- Ensure compliance with standard laboratory practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Exercise sound judgment and a degree of independence in daily tasks.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
- Prepare, make, and test batch and finished products.
- Perform routine and non-routine testing to identify and resolve quality or stability issues.
- Serve as the main technical representative for select accounts.
- Respond to client emails and participate in status phone calls.
- Oversee product and sampling requests from ideation to production.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- 13 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.
- Familiarity with cGMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
