Drug Substance Manufacturing Scientist II
Job Description

As a Drug Substance Manufacturing Scientist II, you will conduct verifications, validations, and qualifications for small molecule drug substances using advanced techniques such as HPLC. You will engage in developmental work on small molecule drug substances using GC, spectroscopy, GC/MS, and LC/MS, while troubleshooting and suggesting improvements based on your prior experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform verifications, validations, and qualifications for small molecule drug substances using HPLC.
  • Engage in developmental work on small molecule drug substances using GC, spectroscopy, GC/MS, and LC/MS.
  • Troubleshoot developmental methods and suggest improvements.
  • Report data in the required controlled format for review.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with method development, API, and drug substances.
  • Proficiency in GMP, HPLC, and GC.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a GMP laboratory with analytical instrumentation.
  • Experience in a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO).
  • Proficiency in EMPOWER III.
  • Technical writing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry or Life Science.
Work Environment

You will work in a lab environment developing methods that are utilized by our team. You will have access to advanced equipment and instruments. The position offers 10 PTO days, 6 paid holidays, holiday and vacation pay, and the opportunity for long-term employment as a consultant. You will be an esteemed member of our extended R&D team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $62.00/hr.
