RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform and/or assist with analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Utilize analytical laboratory instrumentation with supervision.
- Comply with cGMP regulations and follow all standard operating procedures.
- Document activities and check documentation of other laboratory personnel.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation within level of experience.
- Process & analyze data according to established procedures
- Perform and/or assist with equipment calibrations.
- Other related duties as required.
- Assist in the investigation of aberrant results, assist in investigations of anomalous or out of specification results provide written summary reports of such investigations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 4-year degree in chemistry or related discipline.
- 2+ years' experience in a chemistry laboratory; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years' experience with analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-VIS, and dissolution apparatus.
- Adherence to follow standard operating procedures (cGMP's, SOP's, and DOP's).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; attention to detail.
- Able to organize, prioritize and perform concurrent tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office suite of programs (Excel, Office, Outlook, Power-point, etc).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with co-workers and build rapport with other departments.
- Able to lift and move up to 20 pounds occasionally throughout the day.
