Chemical OperatorPay Grade $18 - $30 per hourPrepared Date:November 2024SUMMARY:A Chemical Operator must understand and follow all safety rules, regulations and procedures for ISO systems and any additional plant safety procedures. The candidate must use proper personal protective equipment to perform some assigned tasks. They must understand and be able to operate all equipment related to environmental protection of his or her area. Must be able to communicate clearly the needs of the department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Must know basic math and measurements.Understand how to follow a recipe or instructions.Follows written and verbal instruction.Basic computer skills - word, internet and excel.Reads and comprehends worksheets. Complete all tasks assigned.Mechanical ability.Packing - reads and understands written instructions.Ability to use fire extinguishers. Understand different types.Understand and apply department policies.Understanding on how to handle different chemicals and their dangers.Must have reliable transportation to report to your work location as scheduled.REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to use a ruler, calculator operation and conversions.[]{style="font-size: 14pt; font-family"}
