From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to themedicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companiesin the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredientsare authentic, and labelling is accurate.Eurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to thehealth and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporateresponsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity,and inclusion across the entire network of Eurofins companies.The Analyst I prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standardanalytical techniques according to scientific and EPA methodology incompliance with Eurofins Environment Testing Quality Assurance programs andstandard operating procedures (SOPs).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Demonstrates and promotes the company vision* Regular attendance and punctuality* Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate* Performs routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization withmethods, practices, and programs. These include:* Preparation of samples using standard techniques* Performing chemical analysis using standard techniques* Calculating data* Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to thesupervisor* Performing routine instrument maintenance* Responsible for performing job functions in compliance with EurofinsEnvironment Testing* America's environmental, health and safety and quality assurance standards* Responsible for general housekeeping in work area* Ability to become trained and competent on complex instrumentationincluding but not limited to gas chromatography, gas chromatography/massspectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument specific data systems.* Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods* Aliquots and weighs samples* Washes glassware* Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner* Performs other duties as assigned* BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience maysubstitute for degree.* 2 years laboratory LC-MS Instrumentation experience is a plus* Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meetdeadlines)* Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictionor sponsorship* Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, includingthe ability to read, write and speak in EnglishPosition is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with possibleovertime and weekends as needed.The compensation range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 per hourdepending on level of experience.Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range forinformational purposes, the actual base compensation may vary based upon,but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base compensationof internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.What we Offer:* Excellent full-time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage,dental, and vision options* Life and disability insurance* 401(k) with company match* Paid vacation and holidaysWe support your development!
