Hours/Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Type: Contract (9-12 months)

Overview
Our client in the CPG industry is seeking an Associate Scientist to join their team. If you have a background in science, experience as a medical technician, and excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and characterizing samples for urine library
• Perform functionality testing on retain, stability and surveillance devices
• General project support activities for group scientists device assembly and testing, preparing urine standards, buffer solutions
• Monitoring laboratory equipment recording data as required

Requirements

• BS in relevant scientific field (Biology / Chemistry / Biochemistry) with laboratory experience
• Medical Technician experience strongly preferred
• MS Office proficiency
• Will consider sharp fresh outs with strong undergraduate experience who are detail oriented and exhibit strong organizational skills (e.g. undergraduate research, internships, co-ops)
• Someone with clinical background handling biological samples (e.g. blood, urine) preferred
• Basic lab technical skills (e.g. pH, pipetting, etc.) required
• Must have good GDP and lab notebook documentation skills
• Candidate must be detail oriented and organized
