The QC Lab Analyst is responsible for performing analytical testing and supporting laboratory operations to ensure the quality and compliance of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. The role also involves maintaining equipment, preparing lab materials, and supporting continuous improvement in quality and safety systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct quality control testing of raw materials, in-process, finished products, and wastewater according to SOPs.

  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Prepare necessary lab solutions and maintain laboratory supplies inventory.
  • Ensure EHSQ compliance by following safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Perform SAP transactions related to quality processes (e.g., usage decisions, NCR input).
  • Train lab and plant personnel on test methods and equipment verifications.
  • Lead and verify laboratory test methods for accuracy and consistency.
  • Document and escalate non-conformance results; support investigations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other shifts to ensure proper handoff and continuity.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field. (Preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical laboratory testing. (Preferred)
  • Proficient with chemical instrumentation such as GC, HPLC, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy and titration methods.
  • Familiarity with process equipment and laboratory safety practices.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory data systems.
  • Strong time management and interpersonal communication skills.

Summary Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).

Pay: $31.0960/hr
