POSITION OVERVIEW The Chemical Operatoris responsible for the set up and operation of production equipment intheir assigned production area used to produce microencapsulatedproducts in a safe and efficient manner. The role utilizes bothautomated and manual systems to add raw materials, initiate and monitorthe process to transform the raw materials into finished product.Several actions require manual operator actions that include obtainingsamples for testing, manual material additions, and documentation ofcritical process steps.This position is Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Safe handling of equipment and materialsunderstanding the hazards and proper utilization of PPE Maintain on timeproduction schedule by coordinating daily activities in both the newAppleton plant and the Pilot Capsule plant. Accurate and timely incompletion of tasks and documentation Effective communication with teammembers and management Work overtime to cover vacancies/vacations andmeet Customer requirements, including weekends Promote teamwork byassisting other where and when needed Train new or less experienced teammembers Cross train to other processes and positions for businesscontinuity and flexibility Operate equipment in accordance with SOP\'sObserve, adjust, and monitor equipment to ensure safety, quality, andefficient operation Complete manual operations as required by theprocess Document process critical data timely and accurately Issuematerials and complete orders in ERP system Maintain 5S standardsParticipate in continuous improvement efforts Perform basic care,housekeeping and maintenance of equipment and work area Communicateoperational needs within team and with management Attend all plantmeetings and complete all trainings on time Carry out additional dutiesas assigned Ability to occasionally push, pull and carry up to 60\...For full info follow application link.
