Our client, a leading organization in the chemical industry, is seeking a Chemical Technician I to join their team. As a Chemical Technician I, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting various research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Chemical Technician I
Location: Onsite Laboratory based position - 655 Lone Oak Drive, Eagan, MN 55121
What's the Job?
- Perform laboratory tests and make observations to collect and analyze data.
- Record observations accurately and maintain detailed laboratory records.
- Utilize standard and specialized laboratory equipment in various experiments.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research projects.
What's Needed?
- Basic laboratory skills and experience with laboratory equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to follow SOPs and maintain a safe working environment.
- Knowledge of scientific terminology and laboratory practices.
- A 2-year technical degree or a 4-year bachelors degree, preferably in chemistry or a related field.
