Responsibilities
- Manage technical service requests, including documentation, status updates, and communication with requestors.
- Conduct both routine and complex tests and analyses with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, products, and supplies, including performing preventative maintenance, managing shipments, ensuring lab cleanliness, and supporting standardization and 5S practices.
- Execute application and laboratory test plans to support material and process characterizations, as well as root cause analysis.
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment that may involve repetitive tasks and shifting priorities.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
- Solve problems independently with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to quality improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations and practice safe work habits.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree+ in a Scientific Discipline or similar (Materials Science and Chemistry most relevant).
- Hands-on experience with material testing, sample preparation, and mixing raw materials.
- Experience in adhesives or coatings (1 years ideally, but not required).
- Hands-on experience with tensile testing, pressure sensitivity testing, peel testing, melting, and mixing plastics.
