Quality Control Laboratory Technician-Houston, TX
Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Technician to perform inspections, testing, environmental monitoring, and laboratory support in a regulated GxP environment. This role supports manufacturing and sample processing by ensuring compliance with cGMP/cGLP standards and contributing to quality control processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality control testing, inspections, and raw material evaluations
Conduct high-complexity assays, in-process monitoring, and environmental monitoring (EM)
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
Support deviations, CAPAs, investigations, and audit readiness
Prepare quality documentation, reports, and certificates
Follow Good Documentation Practices and standard operating procedures
Contribute to method development, qualifications, and validations
Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory, and supplies in a BSL-2 environment
Train and support peers in technical functions and protocols
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biological, Chemical, or Physical Sciences with 13 years of GxP lab experience, OR 35 years of relevant lab experience in a regulated environment
Experience perform accurate manual pipetting for various laboratory assays and procedures required
Familiarity with QMS, LIS, GDP, and statistical data analysis
Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
Job Details
Long term contract with the possibility to become permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: Dependent upon level of education and experience
