As a Chemical Operator, you will work in a fast-paced environment performing prepping, weighing, sampling, and packaging of chemical products. You will be responsible for practicing and meeting safety guidelines, environmental and product quality standards, and maintaining productivity and inventory accuracy. You will also be required to maintain regulatory compliance, follow SOPs, safety procedures including analysis, observations, and inspections, safe handling of hazardous chemicals, wear a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus, a full-face respirator, and other Personal Protection Equipment.
The chemical plant is a 24/5 operation and Overtime may be required. No facial hair permitted.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate hand and power tools, forklifts, and production equipment (distillation units)
- Perform entry of production data into computer system (containers fill weights, lot numbers)
- Perform documentation and records management in an accurate and legible manner
- Arrange, load, move, package, transfer, label, sample, and document process materials
- Sample, label, drum, transfer, and document waste
- Set up, adjust, clean, disassemble, reassemble, troubleshoot, and perform minor maintenance on machines, or equipment
- Monitor and control processes using visual observation, process data, and on-line testing
- Complete manual and automated packaging of product.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
