Working under the general direction of the Chief Project Engineer, this role focuses on engineering, capital planning, and project execution at the Woodward plant. The Project Engineer leads a capital portfolio of medium to large capital projects for the plant in addition to collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure project success. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be responsible for EHS excellence, project management: including project leadership, development, planning, execution, controls, risk management and business results. Skills and Requirements Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited institution Minimum of 8 years of applicable engineering/industry experience Applicable Industries: Chemical Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Chemical Products, High pressures and temperatures and valves Experience in project engineering or management and familiarity with capital project development and execution on projects valued between $50,000 to 1 million dollars Knowledge of state, local and U.S. Government regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry standards.
