Associate Scientist
Location: Holly Springs, NC (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our team in Holly Springs, NC. The ideal candidate is flexible, easy-going, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks, from making buffers to implementing advanced techniques as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments, organize data, and analyze results with minimal supervision
Monitor or follow established experimental design and protocols to obtain reproducible and reliable results
Transfer experimental methods from literature to the lab, making modifications as necessary
Develop and implement new protocols with moderate review
Engage coworkers in scientific discussions and communicate data and interpretation to the work group
Coordinate and organize resources needed to complete tasks.
Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Analytical Chemistry and 2 years of lab work experience
Experience in a Biopharmaceutical working environment
Chromatography background and use of Empower
Strong documentation skills focused on compliance
Flexibility and multitasking
Experience with in-house sample management is a plus.
