Appointeeswill maintain a productive research program and provide patient caredirectly. Other responsibilities will include teaching and supervisionof trainees and students. We are interested in applicants in any area ofscientific investigation and clinical subspecialty, and especiallywelcome those whose research focus more broadly is in the areas ofimmunology/inflammation, diabetes, obesity, metabolism, sleep disorders,or cancer biology. Academic rank, track, and compensation (including agenerous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.Primary appointments will be in the Department of Medicine, although weanticipate that appointees will develop close interactions with otherdepartments, divisions, centers and institutes at the University ofChicago, Argonne National Laboratory, and/or the Marine BiologicalLaboratory.
