Job Description The Quality Control Analyst supports all product release testing activities from raw materials to finished goods and product stability. This role involves in-process testing of incoming raw materials, analytical testing, bulk functional testing, and kit lot release testing in accordance with ISO and GMP requirements. Responsibilities
- Perform analytical and functional testing for in-process and finished goods on manufactured products.
- Conduct analytical and functional testing on incoming raw materials.
- Perform stability product testing to extend product dating.
- Execute slide imaging and scanning for functional assays.
- Review data and assess against established acceptance criteria.
- Record, track, and maintain quality control data in logs and spreadsheets.
- Prepare quality control reference standards, control stocks, and cultures per established procedures.
- Initiate nonconformance and deviation reports.
- Proficiency in pipetting, documentation, and laboratory skills.
- Experience in molecular biology techniques, microscopy, and imaging.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- B.S./B.A. in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related field with 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience; OR
- Associates degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related field, with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Experience working in a Quality Control environment preferred.
- Experience using Leica Bond Rx and Roche Ventana Ultra is a plus.
- Experience using slide imaging scanners is a plus.
- Experience in an ISO and GMP environment is a plus.
