Job Description

Vacancy: Environmental Technologist/Scientist

(Source Emissions Testing)

Are you passionate about the environment and enjoy traveling? If so, we have the perfect career opportunity for you!

At Air Research Group Inc., our main objective is to serve our clients by collecting accurate/reliable data and samples for analysis and quantification. We test various pollutants emitted through a stack into the atmosphere by our clients that the EPA regulates. The data and samples that we collect in the field will be quantified and put into a report that is then submitted to our clients.

The primary role of an Environmental Technologist is to complete successful stack tests, including loading all the necessary equipment that is stored at our Surrey, British Columbia office into our testing rigs, which consist of a truck and an enclosed trailer. We then mobilize to the job site and complete a setup of testing equipment. (We usually mobilize a day in advance to ensure that all equipment is working correctly and to troubleshoot any issues.) The day of the stack test will include the Air Research Inc. crew completing at least 3 sampling runs that consist of 1 hour per run. There is travel involved, and the schedule can be exciting if you love to travel during your work week. We travel to many different places to conduct our stack tests.

We are a growth-oriented company that puts "others first" in that we care for each other (our employees), and our clients (give them the best service and testing experience), and help the industry be good stewards of what has been given to us. If our clients expect the best from us, then we must be our best physically (well-rested), mentally (know our project), and spiritually (morally grounded and of good character).

We Value Our People, We Value Our Community, and We Value Our Clients.
